“Southern Souls Band” was formed in Daytona Beach,
Florida in 2006 and rapidly became the perfect
tropical/southern rock band for any occasion, featuring a
talented line-up and a wide variety of music. They have
played leading venues throughout Florida, Reno, Vegas,
and Canada.
The core band members are; bass guitarist and vocalist, Willie Farraday, originally from Auckland, New Zealand and Vice President for Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics, Florida; acoustic guitarist and vocalist, Dave Elinor, retired US Coast Guard, Registered Nurse, Volusia County; lead guitarist and vocalist, Donnie Bostic, Volusia County's top ranked musician/artist and songwriter; saxophonist/keyboardist James Joseph and drummer Chris Papaioannou.
After meeting and working with Willie through James A. Haley VA's Prosthetics/Orthotics Residency Director, Joseph Shamp, Theresa is thrilled to have “Southern Souls” as this year’s Military Appreciation Concert opener.
